This Week's No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Texas Motor Speedway:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 057 in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. This chassis is a new one to the JGL Racing stable and will hit the track for the first time this weekend in the LoneStar State.

Yeley at Texas:
J.J. will be making his 15th NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the Texas Motor Speedway to go along with his 13 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the track.  Yeley has one top-10 finish in XFINITY Series competition which was a sixth place effort in the 2006 event.

J.J. and his No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota finished 19th in the NASCAR XFINITY Series event earlier this season at TMS.

J.J.'s Thoughts on Texas:
"What is not to like about racing in Texas.  They do just a great job of promoting the races and the crowds are always tremendous.  The track has developed some character over the years and produces great racing for the drivers and fans.  There are multiple grooves in the track so it allows you to run high or low depending on how your car is handling.  A key is to be able to handle well over the bumps down in turns one and two - if you can do that then you have a good shot at a solid finish."

"We are coming off a nice two week break which helped us out in many ways.  We are bringing a new car this weekend and with the strong JGR engines we expect a solid performance in Texas."

"Texas 28":
JGL Racing team owner James Whitener returns to the state where he was raised this weekend.  Whitener was born in Florida but was raised in Freeport, Texas and lived there until 1998 when he made the move to California.

Whitener's love of Texas is reflected in the choice of No. 28 for his NASCAR entry.  The number was chosen for the state of Texas - the 28th state in the Union.

Points Battle:
With a 21st-place finish a few weeks ago in Kansas, Yeley dropped to 13th in the overall NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers' standings - just five points out of the 12th position.
